Anti Ragging Committee
Ragging is a crime and this crime is always discarded by SGI. We aim that SGI must be protected with zero tolerance towards ragging and must be a ragging free campus. We have our professional counsellors who help in counselling, discouraging students to be involved in such heinous campus crime and over all on a mission to curb the menace on campus.

About SGI has its grievance readrsseal cell. At present the cell comprises 6 members along with Chairman as its head. There shall be grievance redressal cell at SEC. This committee is responsible for dealing with all the grievances related to technical, academic and administrative glitches and problems including sexual harassment at SGI. We are committed to maintain transparency in the entire process of addressing any issues. The major concern of this cell is to solve students related to examinations and other academic activities. We attempt to monitor the queries, grievances, and other academic matters of students, teachers, and institutions at our best. SEC wants a discipline as well as friendly atmosphere. The cell works under the guidelines of our service books. In some cases where the impact of grievance is much we take the help of law of Government of India.

In keeping with the Supreme Court guidelines, SGI established ICC against sexual harassment and atrocities against women at the workplace. SGI advocates gender equality. We are determined to make sure that the women on our campus are safe and have a healthy environment. In order to achieve this we have formed a gender development cell for institutionalizing the best practices and standard operating procedures which will deal with issues related to women inside the campuses.

The Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Committee is formed in SGI to endorse the distinct interests of students in the reserved category. The committee is designed to help in areas where students experience difficulties. The Committee organizes interactive sessions and informal meetings with students to attend to their personal, social and academic problems. The committee safeguards equality among all the staff and students.The actions are done by counselling and sensitizing the stakeholders to optimally utilise the benefits of the schemes offered by the Government of India.
